Advanced technology, efficacious outcomes
The Cynergy workstation treats vascular and pigmented lesions more effectively than conventional, single-wavelength platforms. With both high-powered 585nm pulsed dye and 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelengths, our proprietary MultiPlex technology enables the sequential emission of the two wavelengths from one delivery system for optimized clinical effectiveness.
CYNOSURE CYNERGY LASER
Cynosure Cynergy Laser Machine has an integrated cooling tip which provides increased comfort and safety during treatment. The lasers are able to be operated independently or combined in a multiplex mode which fires the lasers sequentially. The multiplex mode utilizes the pulsed dye laser to convert oxy-hemoglobin (the pigment which gives blood vessels their red color) to deoxy-hemoglobin (the darker color of blood in veins), which then is targeted by the Nd: YAG laser. This combination treatment has greater effectiveness and less risk of scarring than either laser used alone.

With both high-powered 585nm pulsed dye and 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelengths, our proprietary MultiPlex technology enables the sequential emission of the two wavelengths from one delivery system for optimized clinical effectiveness. It is able to treat:
- Facial and leg telangiectasias
- Spider veins
- Hemangiomas
- Port-wine stains
- And more
The science of MultiPlex
Sequential emission means that Cynergy’s sub-purpuric, pulsed-dye laser fires milliseconds before the Nd:YAG laser. This first pulse converts oxy-hemoglobin to methemoglobin, which increases the absorption coefficient for the Nd:YAG wavelength by 300–500%.
Next, the Nd:YAG laser fires and is more effectively absorbed by the converted target, enabling reduced Nd:YAG fluence for enhanced patient safety. Since greater penetration depth is achieved, outcome results are also optimized.
By emitting dual wavelengths, Cynergy provides safe and effective results in less time than single-wavelength systems. For your patients, that means greater comfort and satisfaction. For you, that means greater patient throughput.
